Who said New Yorkers aren’t kind?
…in spite of being jaded. Conversation between two new yorkers in the world trade center path station:
Construction worker: Are you done with that paper?
Business man: No, actually I didn’t read it yet. (He starts to enter the turnstile, then turns around.) Y’know what, you can have this. They always have this paper at my other job.
Construction worker: You sure? ……thanks!
(the business man enters the turnstile, but just before he gets out of sight…)
Construction worker: (pointing his finger) I’ll remember you!
Business man: (with a warm smile) At least someone will!
Just in time for the holidays.
